Anderson Farms is looking for a Seasonal Field Trip Team Lead! The Field Trip Team Lead plays a key role in supporting the Field Trip Manager to ensure every school group enjoys a fun, educational, and safe visit to the farm. This position helps oversee the daily operation of our field trips by supervising various activity areas, assisting team members, and responding to the needs of students, teachers, parents, and guests throughout the day. Responsibilities include monitoring field trip rotations, providing support and direction to staff, ensuring activities run smoothly and on schedule, assisting with guest needs, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for everyone. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Minimum Availability Required:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for the entire fall field trip season of September 23rd
- October 30th, 2026. Additional hours available Monday
- Friday 9:00 AM
- 5:00 PM September 8th
- 22nd.
These days are optional and not required. Duties may include but are not limited to: Assisting with loading and unloading wagons.
Answering staff and guest questions.
Reliable decision-making skills in the absence of senior management.
Ability to operate a gator with attached trailer in a safe and controlled manner.
Lead by example and help train new employees.
Communicate operational issues, safety concerns or staffing needs with the Field Trip ManagerMonitor field trip zones for safety, cleanliness and remove trash as needed.
Follow all farm safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to regulate and help others in stressful or unfamiliar situations.
Experience working with school-aged children and/or teachers.
Basic agriculture knowledge is helpful but not required.
