Job Summary:
Level 1: Works primarily under the supervision of the Terrain Park Manager, Hand Crew Supervisor, and Hand Crew Leads. Performs a variety of tasks in a utility role, rotating through assignments as directed by the Supervisor. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining terrain features in the terrain parks and other designated areas on a scheduled cycle. Serves as a guest-facing representative, promoting safety awareness, freestyle terrain etiquette, crowd supervision, and positive guest relations. Level 2: The Hand Crew 2 position supports the daily operations and maintenance of Woodward Copper's Terrain Parks while taking on additional leadership responsibilities. This role assists with feature builds and repairs, mentors first-year crew members, and helps ensure all park features meet safety and quality standards. Hand Crew 2 serves as an on-snow ambassador, promoting freestyle terrain etiquette and providing a positive guest experience. This position works under the supervision of Terrain Park Supervisor/Manager/Leads to maintain a high-quality park environment through proactive maintenance, teamwork, and professionalism. Level 3: The Hand Crew Level 3 position is a senior role within the terrain park crew, responsible for supporting daily park operations while taking on leadership, build, and layout responsibilities. This role assists with feature construction and installation, leads small builds and maintenance projects, and mentors Levels 1 and 2 crew members. Level 3 employees act as on-hill leaders, coordinating daily tasks when Leads or Supervisors are unavailable. They demonstrate advanced terrain park skills, proactive communication, and professionalism, ensuring the parks remain safe, high quality, and aligned with Woodward Copper's standards for guest experience and freestyle terrain excellence.
Basic Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a cold alpine environment on uneven terrain for long periods of time. Must have a valid US Driver's license. Must be able to communicate with immediate supervisor—oral and written. Must be able to follow all policies as described in the employee handbook. Must be able to ski/ride with tools or equipment. Required to use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, drills, etc. Must be able to be to work on-time.
