Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Pier Attendant, where you'll be the welcoming face and safety guardian of our picturesque waterfront. In this energetic role, you'll ensure guests enjoy a memorable experience by providing exceptional guest services, managing daily operations, and maintaining a safe and fun environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create an inviting atmosphere where visitors can relax, explore, and enjoy all that the pier has to offer. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with questions or directions to enhance their experience Oversee guest safety by monitoring activity on the pier and surrounding areas Handle cash transactions accurately for ticket sales, food service, or merchandise purchases Resolve guest concerns promptly through effective conflict management and excellent customer service skills Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors Engage with children and families through friendly interaction and age-appropriate activities Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach Ability to handle conflict calmly and effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic cash handling skills with attention to accuracy during transactions Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in an outdoor environment
