GUD Essence is a trusted cannabis dispensary dedicated to providing safe, high-quality products and compassionate service to our customers. We focus on patient education, wellness, and maintaining strict compliance with Florida state regulations.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Lead Dispensary Technician to be the welcoming face of GUD Essence. This role is critical in helping patients select the right products, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and assist with selecting cannabis products tailored to their needs. Provide clear and accurate information on cannabis strains, consumption methods, effects, and dosing. Verify patient IDs and eligibility in compliance with Florida laws. Accurately operate the POS system and handle cash and electronic payments. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dispensary environment. Restock products and displays to ensure availability and presentation standards. Adhere to all company and state compliance policies related to security, safety, and inventory. Support inventory tracking and report any discrepancies. Educate patients on responsible cannabis use and product knowledge. Collaborate closely with the team to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience. Assist with back-of-house operations including inventory intake, product storage, compliance logging, and maintaining secure work areas, as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior retail or customer service experience preferred; cannabis industry experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passionate about cannabis education and patient care. Detail-oriented with good multitasking abilities. Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately. Must be 21 years or older and able to pass required background checks. Flexible availability including weekends and evenings. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
