Job Description
Ponce Inlet WaterSports is hiring a crew member for our Dolphin/Manatee Boat Tour as well as the possibility of working as crew on our BackWater Fishing Charters. We are looking for outgoing individuals who work well with the public while providing them with a fun and informative experience onboard our boats! Our Dolphin/Manatee Tour is a 90 minute trip through the waterways of Ponce Inlet. The primary duty of the crew member is to interact with the guests while sharing facts and information about the local history and wildlife. Training will be provided to teach the crew member about the area as well as other onboard duties. In between trips deckhands will be assisting with launching kayaks and helping guests sign digital waivers as needed. Our fishing charters require assisting guests to catch fish on our half day backwater fishing trip including baiting hooks, taking the fish off the hooks, taking pictures of the guests, and any other assistance your captain may need throughout the trip. Crew members are responsible for cleaning the boats and assisting the captain with the maintenance of the equipment. Applicants must be able to pass a preemployment drug test and they will be enrolled in a random drug testing program as required for all captains and mates on USCG inspected vessels.
