Job Description Summary:
We are now hiring candidates for Egg Handler Post. The Egg Handler is responsible for the traying, loading and transferring of eggs and performing building and equipment maintenance as needed.
Job Description:
Trays eggs into incubator racks according to schedule and transfers eggs from incubators to hatchers Checks for proper operation of machines and equipment Loads and unloads eggs off trucks and into incubation setters Cleans and disinfects the egg room weekly Assumes responsibility for assigning work and meeting schedules within the work group in the absence of the supervisor or lead person Enters egg set information into the M-Tech Computer System (egg track system) Wash plastics and boxes and performs various other sanitation duties as needed Performs callback maintenance duties on assigned weeks and is responsible for handling all building and equipment maintenance on those weeks; also performs maintenance and production duties as required to cover for vacations or absences throughout the hatchery
Job Qualifications:
