Job Description
Overview We are seeking a experienced ranch hand/ general caretaker to join our team. Must have at least 2 years prior horseback riding experience. Housing will be provided on the ranch which consists of a studio unit. In addition to being a paid wrangler, the ranch hand will be required to complete daily chores. A ranch vehicle will be available for errands, chores, and some personal use. This Seasonal position will start Aug. 2026 This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for the outdoors, animal care, and providing exceptional experiences for guests. As a Wrangler/Trail Guide, you will be responsible for leading trail rides, ensuring the safety of both riders and horses, and maintaining the overall quality of our facilities. Duties Lead guided trail rides, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Saddling Handle and care for horses, including grooming, feeding, and monitoring their health. Maintain trails and riding areas by performing regular inspections and necessary upkeep. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required to support various operational needs. Greeting guest Assisting guest with getting on and off the horse safely Use of power tools General maintenance and chores Running errands Experience 2 Years horseback riding a must 1 year as a wrangler or trail guide Previous experience in animal handling is highly desirable, particularly with horses. Ability to perform physical tasks that include heavy lifting and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
