The Outdoor Services position is responsible for ensuring that our guest's arrival, stay and departure service needs are fulfilled at 5star/diamond service level. As an Outdoor Services Attendant, you are responsible for conveying a positive and unforgettable service experience. This position supports multiple departments and are responsible for maintaining all of the outdoor facilities at The Shore Lodge. This includes the pool, hot tub, beach, water deck, trash receptacles, outdoor plants and walkways. The successful attendant serves as a Shore Lodge Whitetail ambassador, engaging the guest and other associates at every opportunity. Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Act as a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and remain focused while providing superior customer service Flexibility to work frequent weekend and holiday hours and varied hours of operation Relevant Forbes service experience preferred and/or previous Guest Service Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Education Ability to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and coworkers Possess a clean driving record and a Valid driver's license
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Rake beaches daily and remove trash Set up, track rental items, paddleboards, kayaks, paddles, life vests, and other water/sand toys Clean, set up and tear down all outdoor furniture, umbrellas and cushions on the beach, pool and hot tub deck Maintain water deck Manage the smores inventory daily, set up and tear down the Smores Firepit area Empty and Clean all outdoor trash and recycle receptacles Clean dock surfaces, water and dead head plants on deck Perform continual towel recovery and set up, work closely with the laundry department for adequate towel supply Sweep the walkways keeping the sand in sand areas Work closely with grounds department to maintain clean walkways Become well versed in all resort operations to be able to assist at all times
