$16.00 per hour Position Overview The Currituck Club is seeking energetic, reliable, and friendly Community Services Team Members to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This role is ideal for college students and local high-school students looking for a summer job that offers flexible scheduling, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work in a fun, outdoor resort environment. Community Services Team Members support daily operations throughout the resort, including beach services, community events, security assistance, and general maintenance and cleaning. You will work directly with homeowners and guests, helping create a safe, welcoming, and memorable resort experience. Key Responsibilities Beach & Guest Services Assist guests with transporting beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and other gear through the Beach Valet and Door to Shore programs. Load, unload, and deliver beach equipment safely and efficiently using beach carts and trolleys. Assist with setting up and breaking down beach chairs, umbrellas, and amenities, per customers' request. Help keep beach access points clean, organized, and guest ready. Assist with golf cart parking management at beach access to ensure a safe, clear driveway for trolley access. Use radio system to communicate with trolleys, security, and management. Community & Event Support Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events and activities. Help maintain cleanliness and organization at event spaces. Provide friendly assistance and directions to guests during events. Security Support (Non-Enforcement) Report safety concerns, rule violations, or suspicious activity to Security or Management. Assist at access points and during busy periods as assigned. Extra consideration given to those pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice (or similar field). Maintenance & Cleaning Support Assist with cleaning and upkeep of common areas, amenities, and facilities, primarily the Fitness Center. Assist Maintenance with projects, cleaning, and general maintenance on an as-needed basis. Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards promptly. Equipment & Operations Clean, organize, and maintain community equipment, carts, and trolleys. Ensure equipment is properly stored and ready for daily use. Assist with general operational tasks to support smooth daily operations. Guest Service & Professionalism Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to homeowners and guests. Answer basic questions and direct guests to appropriate staff when needed. Promote a positive, safe, and welcoming resort atmosphere. Other Duties Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall community operations.Qualifications Customer Service Mindset:

Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Communication Skills:

Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings.Experience:
Customer service experience required — training provided. Great fit for students pursuing a degree in Hospitality or Tourism. Extra consideration given to those pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice (or similar field) for the Security role.Age Requirement:
Must meet minimum employment age requirements. Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
