Role:

Clem's Seafood is looking for a hardworking and experienced Commercial Fisherman to join our crew out of Southport, NC. If you thrive on the open water and take pride in a hard day's work, this is your opportunity to do what you love with a team that shares your passion for the water.

Responsibilities:

Operate commercial fishing vessels safely and efficiently in coastal waters Set, monitor, and retrieve fishing gear including nets, traps, lines, and trawls Sort, clean, and store catch to maintain freshness and quality standards Perform routine vessel maintenance, deck work, and equipment repairs Navigate using charts, GPS, and other marine navigation tools Follow all federal, state, and local commercial fishing regulations and licensing requirements Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure safe and productive operations

Requirements:

Prior commercial fishing or deck handing experience strongly preferred Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in demanding outdoor and marine environments Familiarity with fishing gear, deck equipment, and basic vessel maintenance Knowledge of NC coastal waters, tides, and weather conditions a plus Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work long and irregular hours
