Stumpy's Restaurant, a popular lakefront destination on Lake Granbury, is seeking reliable and safety-focused Marina and Dock Attendants to support daily operations along the dock and waterfront areas. This role assists boaters and guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe marina environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers arriving by boat or visiting the dock area Help guide boats during docking and departure, as needed Secure boats using dock lines and provide basic docking assistance Monitor dock activity to ensure guest safety and compliance with rules Maintain cleanliness of docks, walkways, and lakefront areas Collect and dispose of trash and debris from marina and dock spaces Assist with light maintenance tasks such as wiping surfaces and checking dock conditions Communicate with restaurant staff regarding arriving or departing boat guests Enforce safety procedures and report hazards or incidents to management Provide friendly customer service and basic information to guests Assist with opening and closing dock duties Perform other related duties as assigned by management Qualifications & Skills Previous marina, dock, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working around water and boats Safety-conscious and attentive to surroundings Dependable, punctual, and responsible Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays Flexible scheduling based on lake traffic and business needs Work Environment Outdoor, lakefront marina and dock setting Exposure to sun, heat, wind, and water conditions Frequent walking, standing, and physical activity Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Employee meal discounts Opportunities for advancement Scenic and team-oriented work environment
