Description Water Obstacle Course Attendant -
Splash Safari Role Overview:
As a Water Obstacle Course Attendant at Splash Safari, you are the face of our premier in-lake adventure. Located at The Yacht Club, you will manage the guest check-in process, ensuring every visitor receives a friendly, efficient, and professional welcome. Your goal is to facilitate a seamless transition from the shore to the water while maintaining the elite service standards of Horseshoe Bay Resort.
Essential Job Functions:
Elite Guest Service:
Greet every guest using the "10/5-foot rule," maintain consistent eye contact, and personalize the experience by using the guest's name throughout the interaction.
Reception Management:
Execute daily opening and closing procedures for the reception area with total consistency. Ensure the check-in and waiting areas remain organized, clean, and welcoming.
Operations & Scheduling:
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs accurately. Resolve scheduling conflicts and address guest concerns with a professional, solution-oriented mindset.
Promotion & Sales:
Actively promote marina services, retail offerings, and resort-wide programs or discounts to enhance the guest stay.
Administrative Accuracy:
Prepare daily reports efficiently and monitor resource inventory, communicating restocking needs to management in a timely manner.
Safety & Standards:
Adhere strictly to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and lost-and-found policies. Remain stationed at assigned posts for extended periods to ensure constant guest support.
Team Collaboration:
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions. Work cooperatively with the Splash Safari and Activities teams to deliver a cohesive 5-star experience.
Employment Standards:
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Experience:
Previous customer service experience is required. Experience in hospitality, marinas, or retail is highly desirable.
Skills:
Basic math and accounting skills; excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication.
Attributes:
Must be outgoing, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate guest needs before they are expressed.
Professionalism:
Maintain a professional image through strict adherence to uniform and personal hygiene standards.
Language:
Must fluently speak, read, and write English.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Stamina:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Physicality:
Ability to ascend/descend stairs daily and occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
Resilience:
Ability to remain calm, pleasant, and productive under stressful or high-occupancy situations.
Teamwork:
