We focus not only on wine and spirits education for our guests, but also wine and spirits education for our staff. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone starting in the wine and spirits industry to learn and grow. The position reports to the Tasting Room Manager. Manage Bistro food and supply inventory. Verify deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and physical product received. Ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and rotated using FIFO. Maintain Minimum Inventory Stock (MIS) levels and assist with ordering. Track inventory usage, transfers, waste, and spoilage. Complete inventory counts and investigate variances. Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe storage areas. Train Bistro staff on inventory and food handling procedures. Report inventory issues, shortages, and food cost concerns to management. We are seeking someone deeply passionate about wine, spirits, and food, who possesses excellent people and sales skills to naturally elevate our guests' experiences through premium selections and add-ons. In this role, you will be directly aiding in all aspects of our daily bistro operations, from opening equipment startup and meticulous inventory tracking to crafting beautiful charcuterie boards and grilling perfect paninis. We are primarily looking for coverage Thursday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, but for those interested in expanding their skills, this can easily grow into a full-time, Tuesday through Saturday position as you learn the art of bartending.
