Fish Farmer $17/hr+ (based on experience) Overview Are you a motivated, hard-working individual who enjoys working outdoors and being a part of a dedicated team? If so, we'd love to have you join Rushing Waters Fisheries! Located on an 80-acre farm in Palmyra, Rushing Waters Fisheries raises premium-quality Rainbow Trout and produces a delicious line of value-added seafood products. We're seeking dependable team members to join our operation in either a full-time, year-round position and a seasonal summer position running from June through September. Whether you're looking for long-term employment or seasonal work, you'll be part of a hardworking team dedicated to raising high-quality trout and producing premium seafood products. This position is ideal for individuals who:

  • Are dependable, motivated, and eager to learn Duties and Responsibilities
  • Feed, clean, and care for live trout at all life stages
  • Follow detailed instructions for the care and health of live animals
  • Communicate hatchery or fish health issues to management in a timely manner
  • Work with management to fulfill production plans and goals
  • Communicate farm needs to management, including inputs, feed, tools, and equipment Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work outside year around in Wisconsin Weather while wearing waders
  • Must be able, without assistance, to repeatedly lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and crouching. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous farming experience
