Pro QC International North America San Francisco, CA Job Details Part-time $25 - $32 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Customer communication Microsoft Excel Moving Word embeddings Inventory reconciliation Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Quality Inspector or IT Hardware Technician to perform inspections of electronic scrap materials and end-of-life IT equipment at supplier facilities. The inspector will verify materials against client-provided documentation, confirm traceability, and submit clear inspection reports with photographic evidence. Responsibilities Verify electronic scrap materials against provided documentation. Check part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and general condition. Confirm the accuracy and completeness of inspection records. Review inventory and supporting documentation for discrepancies. Follow client-specific verification and traceability requirements. Submit clear and timely inspection reports with photographic evidence, typically within 24 hours of completing the assignment. Use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare inspection documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and site contacts. Work independently while following detailed client instructions. Identify potential process risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Lift and move boxes and electronic equipment weighing approximately 25 pounds as needed during inspections. Required Qualifications At least two years of experience as an Electronics Technician, Quality Inspector, IT Hardware Technician, Inventory Specialist, or in a related role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities. Familiarity with networking hardware, electronic components, computers, or other IT equipment. Experience with inventory verification, documentation review, or material inspection. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare reports and submit photo evidence. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently at supplier facilities. Ability to follow detailed procedures and client-specific requirements. Ability to lift and move boxes and electronic equipment weighing approximately 25 pounds. Reliable transportation and flexibility to accept assignments, including short-notice inspections. Preferred Qualifications Experience inspecting electronic scrap, e-waste, or end-of-life IT equipment. Background in quality control, inventory management, electronics handling, or material verification. Experience preparing inspection reports, defect records, or audit documentation. Quality, electronics handling, inventory-control, or e-waste-related certifications.
