Agriculture Inspector Job Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for hanging insect traps in walnut trees across designated areas in north-eastern Kansas counties. Hang insect traps in walnut trees according to prescribed methods. Maintain and change lure as necessary. Record data accurately in electronic programs. Take GPS locations of trap placements. Keep a detailed vehicle log sheet.

Must reside in or near one of the North-Eastern Kansas counties: Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Atchison, Jackson, Pottawatomie, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wabaunsee, Osage, Douglas, Johnson, Miami. Available to work approximately 40 hours per week. Must be organized, detail oriented, have a good driving record. Be able to read maps and navigate through designated areas. Identify walnut trees (helpful but not required). Comfortable working independently in rural settings. Able to operate a computer and cell phone provided for data. IND 2
