FRESH PLANT. CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 3 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE. MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION. MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
This position is responsible for sorting product to maximize quality standards throughout the production process. As part of the Evisceration (Evis.) Department, this role inspects product and removes any non-essential portions that may remain after processing. The Team Member is responsible for monitoring birds and product on the line for any defects, contamination, or other deleterious conditions that may impact product quality. This position also provides relief coverage for other Team Members on the production line as needed and assists in maintaining production efficiency, food safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Sort product to maximize quality and yield. Remove any non-essential portions remaining after processing. Inspect birds and product for defects or deleterious conditions. Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and company standards. Relieve Team Members on the production line as needed. Maintain a safe and productive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to use knives, scissors, or other processing tools as required. Ability to work in wet, cold, or temperature-controlled conditions. Working Conditions This position is performed in a food production environment and may require exposure to noise, moisture, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Employees must adhere to all company safety, food safety, animal welfare, and quality assurance policies.
