About the Role We are seeking a Technician II, Food Safety and Quality Assurance (Bakery) to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ. As a Technician

II, FSQA

• Bakery, you will be accountable for ensuring food safety, quality compliance, and regulatory adherence by conducting inspections, sampling, testing, and documentation while making real-time decisions that protect our products and customers.

This role requires you to be onsite in the bakery, giving you hands-on collaboration with the team and daily exposure to the pulse of the business. Shift & Schedule

$24 Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing) Conduct food safety and quality inspections, sampling, and testing to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards Audit products, packaging, and labeling to confirm adherence to Aspire Bakeries' specifications and customer requirements Identify and manage non-conformances, including placing product holds and escalating issues to leadership Verify compliance with AIMS, HACCP, cGMPs, and GFSI standards (e.g., SQF, BRC) Support internal and external audits, including GMP, hygiene, pest control, and food defense programs Perform environmental monitoring activities and maintain accurate documentation and records Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate issues, support training, and ensure continuous improvement in food safety and quality Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or related experience Basic knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and troubleshooting in a production environment Ability to operate inspection and measuring equipment (e.g., scales, metal detectors) Proficient computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, and working in varying conditions Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Experience in the food manufacturing or bakery industry Completion of college-level science courses Certification or training in HARPC, HACCP, or GFSI standards (SQF, BRC), or willingness to obtain Internal auditing experience or certification 2-3 years of related FSQA experience Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.
