POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Live Fish Hauler to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the safe, timely transport of live fish to designated drop-off points throughout your assigned region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely load, transport, and unload live fish, ensuring animal health throughout the journey. Maintain accurate logs and driving records and ensure all required documentation is complete. Represent Jones Lake Management professionally, upholding our reputation as industry leaders. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical concerns promptly.

ROUTE & SCHEDULE

Home nightly — regional run departing from the Cincinnati area to the designated halfway meet point and returning the same day. Typical schedule is 4 to 5 days per week with a minimum of 40 hours during peak season

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Clean driving record — no CDL required but preferred. Excellent time management. Strong verbal communication skills.. Proficient use of smartphone apps for route planning and communication. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. Interest in fisheries, aquatics, or natural resources is a plus.

EDUCATION

Associate's degree or higher in Biology, Fisheries, or a related field preferred. Equivalent hands-on work experience will be considered.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Bending at the waist and/or knees; lifting arms at or above shoulder height. Frequent entry and exit from the truck throughout the workday. Driving for extended periods of time. Ability to work extended hours in all weather conditions — hauling runs rain or shine. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT medical card.
