INSPECTORS
in Waco, TX. The Inspector is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality (DOQ) in overseeing the inspection of articles and inspectors in the Quality Department. The Inspector must be current on all FARs, DFARs, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and internal policies and procedures, along with developing inspection methods and processes with the supervision of the DOQ. The Chief Inspector must be an appropriately certificated mechanic under FAR Part 65.
Responsibilities:
As an Inspector you will be required to: Ensure thorough familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, equipment, tools, aids, and maintain an expertise in the skill for the work they will be inspecting. Ensure all equipment and tools are within calibration and have calibration dates affixed. Understand current specifications involving tolerances and limitations. Properly perform and record the inspection. Ensure the proper execution of records prior to returning the article to service. Ensure work areas are clean, free from foreign object debris, and well-maintained. Ensure mechanics are completing quality work per Company standards, policies, and manuals. Report deficiencies to the Chief Inspector immediately. Ensure only properly authorized technicians are working, signing, or stamping work cards. Maintain constant attention to all maintenance on their assigned line to adhere to Company RSM and safety manual. Ensure all materials are allocated to the correct job and project number. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Any additional duties assigned by the Chief Inspector or Director of Quality Control.
