Job Description

KOMAN Government Solutions has an immediate need for a Natural Resources Technician to support our business operations in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Our Client base includes the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Guard Bureau, Federal Aviation Administration, General Services Administration and Housing and Urban Development, as well as various state, municipal and commercial entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prescribed burning, wildlife trapping, forestry cruising, wildlife surveys, forest inventory, and invasive species control. Operating equipment associated with these tasks as well as other natural resources management operations. Some of the equipment used and maintained by
KGS:
Dump truck, road grader, farm tractors, Dozers, ATV/UTV, Wildland Fire Brush Trucks, backhoe, boat and air boat.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will have a degree in either Wildlife Biology/Forestry, plus 3+ years' experience. Class A or B CDL is highly desirable Boat operator's license is highly desirable. NWCG firefighter Type 2 certification (preferred-must be able to obtain). Commercial pesticide license (preferred - must be able to obtain). Certification in field of expertise is preferred plus National, regional, State and Local environmental related certifications requiring experience and written examination preferred.
