Job Description
Join our Trail Crew and spend your summer working in the mountains! As a Trail Crew Team Member , you'll work closely with the Trail Crew Supervisor to build, maintain, and improve mountain trails and surrounding areas. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hard work, and thrives in a team setting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clear trails and the surrounding areas of debris and rubbish Operate hand tools, chainsaws, and brush saws safely and effectively Help build new trail features and perform regular maintenance Assist with bike trail construction and upkeep as needed May drive company vehicles to transport tools, supplies, or crew members Follow trail plans and directions with precision and care Communicate with team using 2-way radios Clear trails and the surrounding areas of debris and rubbish Operate hand tools, chainsaws, and brush saws safely and effectively Help build new trail features and perform regular maintenance Assist with bike trail construction and upkeep as needed May drive company vehicles to transport tools, supplies, or crew members Follow trail plans and directions with precision and care Communicate with team using 2-way radiosQualifications:
A valid U.S. Driver's License is required Punctual, reliable, and ready to work Strong team player with a problem-solving mindset Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, sun, heat, cold, snow, etc.) Physically fit and able to perform manual labor on uneven terrain Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds A valid U.S. Driver's License is required Punctual, reliable, and ready to work Strong team player with a problem-solving mindset Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, sun, heat, cold, snow, etc.) Physically fit and able to perform manual labor on uneven terrain Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
