Landscaping Field Technician

TalentLogistiX is hiring Field Technicians who are motivated self-starters and eager to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of landscaping services. In this role, the Field Technician will work under the direction of a Crew Foreman or Team Leader to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely while supporting overall project success. The Field Technician plays a key role in driving service excellence by contributing to high-quality project delivery, supporting customer satisfaction, and helping maximize customer retention. This position is ideal for individuals who take initiative, work well in team environments, and are committed to producing quality work that ultimately increases operational efficiency and profitability.

Field Technician Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain job site, loading materials, using a variety of tools and machines safely including, but not limited to; power drills, augers, chain saws, pressure washers, all-terrain vehicles, tractor, skid steer, brush mower, and hydro-seeder, etc. Rough, finish and fine grading for seed bed preparation Installation of trees, shrubs, plugs and seedling relating to turf, prairies, wetlands, and woodlands Mulch, stone, and compost installation Sediment control device installation (silt fence, erosion control blanket, etc.) Invasive species management via mechanical and chemical application Native and invasive plant identification Ornamental plant identification Hardscape installation

Field Technician Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Safety oriented and focused OSHA trained in the following fields, but not limited to; emergency planning, hazardous materials , PPE, first aid, fire protection, material handling and storage, welding, cutting, brazing, tools and equipment, motor vehicles and roll over protection for motorized equipment Time Management Organization (Internal and External) Industry Knowledge General Maintenance Skills Verbal and Written communication skills Strong attention to detail TalentLogistiX is a workforce business solutions provider.
