2 Cincinnati, OH Job Details 9 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Records maintenance Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Metro is seeking a Farebox Puller, who under general supervision, is responsible for removing vaults from fareboxes with computer probes as buses arrive at the divisions. This role performs routine work removing farebox vaults from buses, replacing with empty vaults, and sorting and counting cash revenue from farebox vaults. After removing vaults from fareboxes, the Farebox Puller must empty the contents of the vaults into receivers, securing receivers after all vaults are pulled, and recording the number of vaults pulled each night. Candidates for this role must be able to work flexible hours and be willing to work in varied garage locations, as needed.
JOB DUTIES
Pull cash vaults from fareboxes on buses with computer probe as they return to the property. Empty contents of vaults into receivers. Place empty vault into next bus after pulling full vault. Secure receivers after all vaults pulled. Open Farebox top, Replenish transfer stock when low. Maintains accurate records of vaults & document number of vaults pulled each night. Performs related work, as assigned. Model, facilitate and encourage exemplary internal and external customer service. Model exemplary internal and external customer service. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Modified operator candidates must have one year in position to be eligible.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills Familiar with transit-related software packages (Trapeze, Safety Vision). Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word) Email. Certificates & Licenses Valid driver's license with good driving record. Other Requirements Ability to lift & carry up to 50 lbs. Working knowledge of the Metro System and all routes and a clear understanding of services provided by Metro. Legible handwriting and accurate recordkeeping. Satisfactory work performance and attendance record. Must be available to work flex hours and available as sick, vacation & holiday relief. Must have satisfactory police record & able to be bonded.
