POSITION SUMMARY

The Brown Bag Bus is The YMCA of Greater Montgomery's one-of-a-kind initiative to combat the effects of childhood hunger in Montgomery, Alabama. Brown Bag Bus staff are a part of helping to provide food assistance to children in underserved communities.

Hours of work approximately:

Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 6:00pm. In addition, every position in the YMCA of Greater Montgomery is responsible for upholding our mission by modeling behaviors that exemplify caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist in assembly of meals item to be delivered Ride along on bus to distribute food Ensure cleanliness of bus at end of shift

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School or equivalent (minimum) Must be available to work Monday through Friday 1:00pm - 6:00pm

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to: climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand for an extended period of time, walk, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, have finger dexterity, grasp, perform repetitive motions, talk, hear and have visual acuity.
