Job Summary:
Supervise and lead children while providing a safe, fun, interactive environment at our day camp program!
Job Description and Expectations:
1. Provide a friendly, fun, safe, and interactive environment for children when they come to participate in our after school/summer programs 2. Oversee a classroom of 25 students with another teacher, while facilitating different activities with the students throughout the day 3. Maintain a clean classroom and camp environment 4. Ability to handle money and operate a computer to process camp payments for attending children 5. Willing and able to participate in physical activities with children 6. Willing and able to help train and support new employees as part of the larger team 7. You will need to work and communicate closely with the Super Programming Director and maintain a professional attitude to support your fellow employees, including employees of North Phoenix Baptist Church. 8. While on the clock, you are expected to respond in a timely and professional manner to all text messages, emails, phone calls and or any form of group communication. 9. Willing to help with the overall daily functions and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Must be an outgoing Christian who is actively seeking Christ and attends a church regularly. Must have experience working with children. Must be able to participate in simple physical activities with the children such as recreation, sports, etc. Must at least sixteen years in age Must be flexible with the hours you are able to work and willingness to work a variety of shifts including opening and closing Ability to pass a drug test, back ground check, and meet all other standard employment requirements.
