Job Description

The ID Technician is responsible for accurately marking, labeling, and identifying aerospace components and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and industry standards. This role supports traceability and ensures compliance throughout the manufacturing process. How You Will Do It Apply part identification using methods such as ink stamping, laser etching, vibro-etching, and labeling Interpret and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and lot codes to ensure accuracy and traceability Maintain detailed and accurate records of identification activities Partner with Quality Assurance and Production teams to resolve discrepancies Perform visual inspections to ensure markings are legible, accurate, and compliant Maintain and calibrate identification equipment as required Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with 5S and safety standards
What We Look For:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred One to three years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, or other aerospace quality standards is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Basic computer skills, including experience with ERP systems Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to use magnification tools or microscopes as required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including
