  • Student Applicants must "register" by creating a profile on EdJoin.org. and submitting their application.
  • Work Permit
  • All students under 18 years of age need to have a work permit or they cannot be processed. Transition students over 18 years do not need to have a work permit but they are still processed as student workers until their 23rd birthday which is when they graduate from the program.
  • I-9 form with the appropriate documents (copies) attached. If the documents are not included the student cannot be processed. Student ID and Social Security Card are the usual documents included in the packets.
  • W-4 tax form filled out and signed.
  • EDD California tax form filled out and signed.
  • Emergency Information form filled out and signed.
  • The oath form is not needed, TB test and fingerprints are not required for our student workers.
  • We do not accept student workers from other school districts.
  • All documents/materials needed are to be collected by the hiring site (Transition, Richmond High, Pinole Valley High, DeAnza high and El Cerrito High).
And deliver or forward to Human Resources attention Maria Vazquez for processing.
