Full Job Description Position Summary:

Summer crew is responsible for assisting with the preparation of vacant apartment homes for new resident move-ins during the busy summer leasing season. This position focuses primarily on apartment make-ready activities, including cleaning, organizing, and completing non-technical tasks that help ensure units are move-in ready. Working closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance team, the Summer Crew Member supports efficient unit turns by maintaining high standards of cleanliness. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a positive experience for incoming residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Assist with apartment turns by removing trash, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning units prior to new resident move-ins. Help move supplies, furniture, appliances, and equipment as directed. Perform light painting, touch-up work, and basic maintenance tasks under supervision. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to residents, vendors, and coworkers. Conduct final touch-up cleaning before resident move-in to ensure the apartment meets company quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Positive attitude with excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs, and lift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat. Ability to use basic cleaning equipment and hand tools safely. Safety Expectations Summer Crew Members are expected to: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Wear required PPE when performing assigned tasks. Immediately report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment. Operate equipment only after receiving proper instruction and authorization. Performance Expectations Successful Summer Crew Members will: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely. Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude. Help create a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for residents and visitors. Follow instructions from supervisors and comply with all company policies.
