Job Description

Woodward Tahoe (Boreal and Soda Springs), located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range, is a year-round world-class action sports facility with a culture that comes straight from our main product: Fun. If this sounds like the kind of place you'd like to work, progress, and play, we'd love to hear from you! We're currently hiring Rental Technicians for the upcoming winter season. This role requires helping guests get set up quickly, safely, and confidently with everything they need to enjoy their day on the hill. This is a Full-Time, Part Time, or Seasonal position with employee housing available starting at $350/month.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Rental Technician, you'll help guests gear up for a great day on the mountain. Whether it's a first-time skier or a returning, your job is to ensure each person leaves the rental shop with properly fitted equipment and a positive, confident attitude.
Daily Responsibilities:
Fit guests with ski or snowboard boots, bindings, and equipment based on ability and size Adjust, test, and maintain rental gear to ensure safety and functionality Assist guests with returns, exchanges, and troubleshooting Educate guests on proper use of equipment and basic safety Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient rental area Provide friendly and professional customer service Work closely with other departments like ticketing, ski school, and lift ops Keep a positive attitude, even during peak weekends and holidays
Work Environment & Schedule:
Indoor/outdoor environment with high guest traffic Fast-paced setting—especially on weekends and powder days Early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts are expected Must be able to stand, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods Willingness to learn rental software and safety standards
Who We're Looking For:
No prior rental experience required—we'll train you! Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused Mechanically inclined or willing to learn basic gear setup Dependable and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Bonus if you ski or ride—but not required!
