The Golf Retail Associate is a crucial role in our team. This position will entail assisting customers in store, receiving incoming golf equipment into inventory, recognizing and documenting golf club specifications, cleaning golf equipment, photographing golf equipment, and packaging sold golf equipment for shipment. Tasks:
Helping sell golf clubs to customers in-store Receive and tag incoming golf equipment into inventory system Identify and recognize golf club make/model/detailed specifications Document golf club specifications in pre-made templates to be listed for sale online Operate photography lights and cell phone camera to take pictures of golf clubs for online store Identify golf clubs and products that are sold and package them for shipment(building boxes, protecting products, boxing, labeling) Break down boxes and place them in recycling dumpster Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety analysis Clean and maintain work areas including, but not limited to; desktops, trash bins, and bathroom. Bring a positive attitude, be on-time, and be ready to work/grow Assisting supervisor(s) with various tasks in warehouse and at vendor facilities when needed Record competitor prices on excel/google sheetsRequirements:
- Intermediate-advanced knowledge of golf and golf clubs
- Must be a team player who works well with others
- Must be able to sit, stand, reach and lift in a warehouse environment
- Computer skills: MS Excel, typing, and basic computer troubleshooting
