Fruits and Vegetables Attendance - Xavier High School TeachIowa Cedar Rapids, IA Job Details Part-time 10 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Xavier Catholic Schools is hiring a Fruits and Vegetables Attendant to join the Food Service Team at Xavier High School! This is a part-time, position
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Education or GED required, Prior food service or related field experience preferred Enthusiastic supporter of the Catholic faith and schools Flexible, adaptive, and cooperative All who serve at Xavier Catholic Schools will witness by their behavior, actions, and words a life consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all health department guidelines and regulations Open canned fruit and put into serving pans Open and prepare canned vegetables Wash and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for serving; and replenish fruits and vegetables, as needed Serve lunch to students Monitor lunch line Backup cashier, when needed Spray and wipe tables in the Commons after lunch Assist co-workers in other areas, as needed Take required classes and training Take out garbage and recyclables Sweep and mop floors; perform heavy duty cleaning, as needed Help unload weekly truck Prepare grocery order on Thursdays Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, reach, sit, hear, handle and perform repetitive motions of the hands/wrists. Lifts and moves items up to 20 pounds. The physical demands and work environment characteristics described above are representative of the physical capabilities that must be met by an employee and the working conditions that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
