Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting/shot blasting) to clean and prepare surfaces for coating Apply industrial coatings, paints, and protective finishes using spray equipment Mix coatings and maintain correct ratios per manufacturer requirements Inspect surfaces before and after blasting and coating for quality and compliance Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment Maintain proper coating thickness (DFT) using inspection tools Follow work instructions, job travelers, and production schedules Maintain clean and organized work areas Complete required documentation and inspection records Complete required documentation and inspection records Other duties as assigned. Help in assembly area prepping and moving parts Assist in weld shop grinding chokes as needed Operate forklift/pallet jack Operate overhead crane Perform other work-related tasks as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required 2 years in a manufacturing environmentPHYSICAL/NON-PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and communicate effectively through speech and hearing The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on occasion Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus While performing job duties, the employee may be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and industrial vehicles The noise level in the work environment is typically moderateCOMPETITIVE BENEFITS
