Seal Coater

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seal to join our manufacturing and fabrication team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of various components through precise sealing, assembly, and finishing processes. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality products, maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency. Duties Surface Preparation:

Clean and clear asphalt surfaces using weed-whackers, brooms, push-blowers, and pressure washers.

Crack Repair:

Apply hot or cold crack filler to fill holes and gaps prior to sealing.

Material Application:

Spread sealant evenly using hand tools like squeegees and brushes, or assist in operating motorized spray rigs.

Site Management:

Load/unload trucks, haul materials, and secure work zones with traffic cones and barricades.

Equipment Maintenance:

Clean and maintain sprayers, squeegee machines, and other paving tools after every shift. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Requirements & Physical Demands Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, and dust).

Schedule Flexibility:

Early morning starts and occasional weekend or overtime shifts to meet project deadlines.

Licensing:

A valid driver's license with a clean record is highly preferred; with ability to tow a trailer a CDL is a major plus.

Pay:

$25.70 - $32.00 per hour
