Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IPM/Fertigation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing integrated pest management strategies and managing fertigation systems to promote healthy plant growth across various agricultural settings. Your expertise will ensure the safe handling of chemical agents, adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work out of our Nevada cannabis facility. Providing consumers with a growing portfolio of high-quality, premium branded cannabis products, that are safe, reliable and trustworthy. By combining our customer first focus with deep industry knowledge and state-of-the-art facilities. Utilize mechanical and hand tools, and contribute to sustainable land management practices. Responsibilities Prepare and mix all nutrients in large scale tanks in preparation for daily feedings to all Vegetative & Flowering Room locations in both facilities. Operate machinery, power tools, safely during daily tasks. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fertigation systems to optimize nutrient delivery for crops or maintaining stock nutrient tank levels and daily checklists including biosecurity. Use ladders, scaffolding, and confined space entry procedures safely when accessing hard-to-reach areas or performing maintenance tasks. Handle chemical agents with proper respiratory protection and adhere to all safety procedures during application and handling. Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination. Exhibit proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs. Crop Scouting to observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems. Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the grow facility.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Must be 21 years of age or older Must have an active State of Nevada Cannabis Agent Card, or the ability to obtain one Attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer skills: Irrigation System Controls 1-2 years minimum experience with irrigation, plumbing and diagnostics 1-2 years minimum experience with plant strains, plant structure, and plant health Computer skills: Irrigation System Controls A combination of the above shall also be considered
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass respirator fit test, full face respirator Prolonged periods of standing Elevated temperature environments, humidity levels and average temperature 78 degrees Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions Ability to kneel, bend, and squat Lift and carry up to 70 Lbs.
Work Environment:
