Job Description

Position Overview:
As part of the Golf Cart Staff at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all members and guests, ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of golf carts, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the golf course's fleet. The Cart Staff will assist golfers with setting up for their rounds, delivering bags to the course, and offering premium experience consistent with the high-end standards of Edgewood.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the daily opening procedures such as driving range set up and delivery of clean and fully stocked golf carts to the cart staging area. Greet players at the end of their round, clean their clubs and deliver their golf bags to the bag drop. Ensure the range is properly cleaned and all free of trash. Assist with the setup and execution of golf groups and events. Assist golfers with their golf equipment including but not limited transferring to and from the Lodge, Clubhouse storage, and the bag drop. Clean and stock the golf carts before and after the round, ensuring they are properly stored and charging. Maintain the rental club fleet. Ensuring the sets are properly cleaned, accounted for, and stored. Work closely with other staff, including the pro shop, marshals, and maintenance crew, to ensure smooth operations. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous golf course experience with basic knowledge of golf Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to use tee time software and ability to work under changing conditions.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs. Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
