Failla Wines is seeking cellar interns to join our 2026 harvest team. We are a small winery focusing on premium Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Gamay, and Syrah. Our team is very small, so you should expect to get your hands into every aspect of production. An ideal candidate will be hard working, clean, organized, and love wine. We provide lunch and beer throughout harvest. We strive to create a fun and informative environment so that interns get the most out of their experience. The position will begin in early September and will likely end mid-November. The winery is rustic, but located on the beautiful Patton Valley Vineyard with views of Mount St Helens and Mount Adams and only 45 minutes from Portland.

Duties:
  • Cleaning
  • Grape receiving, sorting, processing
  • Cap Management - pigeage, punch downs, pump-overs
  • Digging tanks
  • Cleaning
  • Press operation
  • Barrel prep and filling
Cleaning Qualifications:
  • Compliance with all safety requirements
  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
  • Good reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Fluency in English
  • Reliable transportation and housing
  • Legal to work in US Working conditions:
  • Standing for long periods of time (8 hours or more) in all types of weather
  • Exposure to loud and dangerous machinery
  • Irregular and long hours during peak periods
