Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities Sets up equipment Conducts quality checks and reacts to quality issues Communicates/interfaces with all departments Assist in maintenance activities Use hand tools Operate hand pallet jack to move pallets several times per shift Complete daily housekeeping tasks Attend safety and team meetings/training Conduct monthly safe audits Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that employees encounter while performing essential functions of the position. Regularly required to communicate effectively Attention to detail Frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach /pull with hands and arms Perform repetitive tasks with high degree of accuracy. Required to stand continuously for 30 - 60 minutes Climb or balance; stoop/bend, kneel, crawl around various pieces of equipment daily Ascend & descend 2 steps to repair & clear jams on stretch wrap machine and also ascend & descend 3 steps to dump boxes of bands. Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds from different heights. Lift arms over head to clean equipment daily Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Ability to use hand and power tools. Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, Swing shifts. May require additional hours beyond regularly scheduled 12 hour work day (evenings and weekends) Fully comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate the ability to follow directions Qualifications High School diploma preferred. Must be able to successfully complete background check and drug screen.
