Full-time Requirements:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Ability to pass PA State Criminal Check (ACT 34)
• Ability to pass PA Child Abuse Clearance (ACT 33)
• Ability to pass FBI Clearance (ACT 114)
• Clean National Sex Offender Registry Report
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass a physical examination and drug screening Duties include but are not limited to: Teach students practical life skills, workplace readiness, job exploration, self-advocacy, and independent living.

Develop engaging, hands-on lessons that connect real-world skills to everyday life and employment. Share knowledge in a variety of technical and trade-related areas through demonstrations, projects, and problem-solving activities. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and maintain student progress records. Mentor students by modeling professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Create a safe, positive, and structured learning environment where students can build confidence and practical skills. Complete required documentation and communicate student progress with the educational team. Collaborate with coworkers to support student success. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and isn't afraid to tackle something new. A successful candidate will have experience in several of the following areas rather than being an expert in just one.

Small engine repair Carpentry Electrical Plumbing Welding and fabrication Automotive repair Construction General maintenance Electronics Mechanical troubleshooting Tool and equipment operation Preferred Qualifications Associate degree, technical certification, apprenticeship, military experience, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. Previous experience training, coaching, mentoring, leading crews, or supervising others is preferred but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt lessons to students with different learning styles. A positive attitude, patience, and a desire to help young people develop the skills needed for successful employment and independent living. $37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
