About us Middlebrook Playschool Middlebrook Playschool has been in business for 50 years, and our current owner Becky Hayward has owned MPS for 30 years. Our goal is to provide a home away from home for our students. We believe in learning through play, as well as fostering friendships and partnerships with our students and parents. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: helping children grow physically, emotionally, and cognitively in a healthy and safe environment, serving food at meal times, maintaining a safe, clean environment, closing down the classroom and getting ready for the next day, and more. This is a very family feeling employment opportunity, and a great way to interact with the owner! •The School Age Director is responsible for running the AfterSchool program. Planning summer field trips & activities, Maintaining transportation records, Driving the short 14-passenger bus to pick up children from school and bring them to the daycare, Planning and Implementing lesson plans, Part time during School days (but may have more hours to do transportation and planning duties), Full Time during all Knox County School breaks and half days.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years old or older Have a High School Diploma Pass a Background Check Experience is wonderful, but we are willing to train the right person. Willingness to get an F-Endorsement and Drive the bus
