Summer Field Services Program (2026)

Summer Field Services Program is designed to develop job skills in multiple fields that require hands on dedication with the use of heavy equipment, welding, pipe laying etc.... Participants will develop and see skills in a wide variety of field tasks, experience the use of heavy equipment, working with your hand to accomplish task, driving equipment, and gain an understanding how the city functions every day. This program is designed to prepare participants to further their careers in a Field Job/ Outdoor environment. Must be between the ages of 17-21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

Continuously stand and walk during the shift. Occasionally climb ladders, stairs, poles, scaffolding, and other inclined surfaces. Frequently bend and kneel. Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Occasionally push and pull objects. Occasionally flex upper trunk forward at the waist and partially at the knees. Occasionally rotate upper trunk to the right or left while sitting or standing. Frequently reach above, at, or below shoulder height. Coordinate eye, hand and foot movement in order to operate a vehicle.
