Education and Experience:
Must have high school diploma or GED Prefer some experience working with the IDD population Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable
Job Purpose:
Must demonstrate a concern for the rights, privileges, and dignity of individuals served Provides daily programming, training, direct care, and supervision to individuals served Will provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual disability, mental illness, or substance abuse Must have understanding of the diagnosis of Intellectual Disability and its impact on persons
Job Function:
Will implement treatment plans, crisis intervention, documentation, and supervising medications Will maintain individual care in a safe, therapeutic and professional manner Must be able to administer CPR Must be able to consistently and accurately perform the documentation tasks as assigned Will demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a situation in which frequent interruptions are inherent Must be able to transport in Center vehicles both out of town and in town Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and over night shifts This Organizations Participates in E-Verify Central Plains Center is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
