Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a safe environment, and keep required records of all financial transactions at the LMOA Marina. The candidate is responsible for properly supervising boat activity and assures boats are in compliance with LMOA policies for registration.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the sale of gasoline, oil, and other supplies sold at the Marina. Performs recordkeeping as required by LMOA Accounting Procedures. Checks boats launched at the Marina to assure proper boat registration and safety procedures are followed. Collects and records fees charged for boat registrations and dry storage. Documents barcodes as required by LMOA Accounting Procedures. Advises leadership of any boats using the Lake, storage area and/or slips without proper identification. Maintains the marina building and grounds and ensures they are in a clean and presentable condition. Provides courteous and prompt customer service. Completes other tasks and assignments as required.
Education:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to successfully running a marina, gasoline station, or similar retail business.
Abilities:
Proven organizational skills. Above average customer service skills as there is frequent interaction with external customers. A personable and professional manner is required for both face-to-face and telephone contact. Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
Pay:
From $15.50 per hour
