- Operations Job Description KLX Energy Services LLC provides a broad range of technical solutions and equipment to our customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Adheres to all corporate safety directives to promote a safe working environment, including participating in safety talks and wearing required PPE.
- Conducts safety audit of well site and rig conditions upon arrival on site, and provides training to other MWD personnel on site hazards.
- Operates directional only and full service gamma jobs unassisted.
- Is responsible for the management, training, and development of any MWD personnel at the well site.
- Is responsible for MWD log generation and delivery.
- Actively participates in knowledge sharing.
- Manages personal development and keeps informed on the latest technology and strategies.
- Is responsible for the preparation of End-of-Well reports and final client data delivery.
- Is responsible for post-job debriefings
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Minimum Requirements- High School graduate or equivalent
- Computer literate; competent in Windows XP or equivalent and MS Office
- Good writing skills and organizational skills
- Work for extended periods away from domicile and family at all hours of the day or night, as required and be able to perform the duties required at a superior level.
- Travel extended distances and to all areas of the U.S. required.
- On call status
- 24/7
- Must pass pre-employment background check.
- Must pass pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and/or post-accident drug screens.
- Must complete training requirements and pass MWD Operator 1 and Basic Rig Knowledge Exams.
