- Immediate Opening About All Phase Landscape and Excavation All Phase Landscape and Excavation is a growing landscape installation company based in Chester, CA, serving Plumas County and the surrounding region.
We specialize in full-yard installs — irrigation setup, equipment operation, sod laying, and ornamental shrub and tree planting — delivering complete projects from mobilization through final cleanup. We're a hands-on, crew-based company that runs on a few simple things: doing quality work we can stand behind, keeping every job site safe and productive, and taking real ownership of the results. Our crews work closely together in the field, and we believe in developing our people — many of the best crew leaders start on the crew and grow into it. As we enter a key growth phase, we're adding a second installation crew and looking for a strong leader to run it. If you take pride in your craft, show up ready to work, and want to grow with a company that's scaling, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Lead a crew of 3 laborers on landscape installation projects across Chester, CA and surrounding areas Manage the full installation process from start to finish: irrigation systems, equipment operation, sod laying, shrub and tree planting, and related work Keep the crew on schedule, on task, and meeting quality standards on every job Communicate daily job status, site issues, and crew needs directly to the owner Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site at all times Enforce proper equipment use and site safety protocols Help evaluate and develop crew members over time What We're Looking For — Must-Haves Proven experience in landscape installation (not just lawn maintenance — full installs: irrigation, sod, shrubs, trees, equipment) Prior experience leading, supervising, or training a crew of 2 or more people Ability to manage a project from mobilization through final cleanup Self-motivated and reliable — you show up, you follow through, you take ownership Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites in the Chester, CA area Nice to Have Bilingual (English/Spanish) — a major plus for communicating with crew members Familiarity with Plumas County terrain, climate, and local project conditions Experience with irrigation system design or layout Stable work history with multi-season tenure at previous employers
