A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

- Training in Horticulture, or Landscape management, or a related subject or a Master Gardner Certificate in the landscaping/ground field is preferred.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License required.
- Driving record capable of being insured by hospital carrier required
- 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance preferred. Responsibilities
- Maintain landscaping with little loss of plant material.
- Maintain equipment related to landscape maintenance.
- Enhance grounds through design recommendations.
- Maintain irrigation system for appropriate watering times/amounts, minimizing water loss.
- Supervise tree trimming to enhance beauty/growth of trees on all campuses.
- Supervise vendor to ensure trash pickup/cleaning of grounds and parking structure is consistent.
- Assist in budget preparation for each year's landscape needs.
- Maintain all grounds equipment.
- Organize and facilitate snow removal.
- Design/oversee new or remodel sites.
- Follow OSHA guidelines in all activities.
- Meet with Director regularly to update on activities and recommendations.
