To manage crew members and landscape installations
Supervision Received and Exercised:
This position receives direct supervision from the Landscape Installation Manager. The Landscape Installation Foreman exercises supervision over the Landscape Installation Assistant Foreman and all landscape general labor positions
Distinguishing Characteristics:
This is an experienced, full time position paid hourly which requires 2-3 years' experience.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of irrigation installation Advanced knowledge of hardscape installation Advanced knowledge of plants and trees Advanced knowledge of water features Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of tools. Experience with skid loaders and trenchers Speak, read, write, and comprehend English. Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:
Leads in landscape and irrigation installation Assists in the training of all landscape laborers Basic maintenance of tools and equipment Competent with the operations of skid loaders and trenchers Assists with keeping their trailer and truck clean and organized In charge of job tracking and maintaining job budget
Physical/Environmental Demands:
Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. ATPS promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or Vocational training and two to three years (2-3) related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid Colorado Driver's license is required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) a plus ICPI
