A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description

Country Landscaping is a drug and alcohol free employer and we need additional team members to help serve our customers! We operate twelve months out of the year. Competitive pay based on experience and skills. Strong work ethic and performance will lead to advanced leadership positions and increased pay rate.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CANDIDATES
Background Check Drug Test Valid Connecticut Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Reliable transportation to and from Durham Dependable and always on time/early to work. Available to work 40+ hours per week. Physically able to work at a fast pace for 8+ hours per day in the elements. Able to lift 80lbs. Able to follow instructions and work efficiently. Attention to detail. Strong leadership skills and leadership experience. Available between the hours of 6:30am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Some Saturday hours may be required depending on the week and weather conditions. At least two (2) years experience required in the areas below. Residential landscaping experience Patios/ walkways Retaining walls Drainage work Masonry Excavation/ grading Mulching/edging Planting trees and shrubs New lawn installations/ hydroseeding Snow plowing/blowing/shoveling
