At-Will Employment Job Description As a Crew Member
  • Landscaping for Townhome Landscapes, you will work on-site as a member of our crew to complete landscaping projects.
We complete a wide range of projects including mowing/edging, weeding, trimming/pruning, turf/plant care, installing vegetation, retaining walls, hardscapes, fencing and many other types of projects. You will learn/gain experience in a number of areas that you may not currently have experience in; however, it is expected that you have extensive experience/are an expert at mowing and edging lawns, and trimming/pruning vegetation (shrubs, trees, grasses, etc) What You Will Do Primarily Independently complete mowing/edging projects
  • with the ability to protect plant health and deliver aesthetically pleasing results. Independently complete trimming/pruning projects

Additionally Assist supervisor to complete a wide range of low-risk outdoor installation projects, including mowing/edging, trimming/pruning, weeding, mulching, concrete installation, hardscape, carpentry, sod, irrigation, lighting and vegetation installation, snow/leaf removal, and more (visit www.townhomelandscapes.com for complete list of services) Operate manual tools and power tools Report concerns or unsafe conditions to the supervisor Complete work correctly, so as to avoid re-work Responsible for returning equipment in working condition Politely engage with community stakeholders Leave job site in clean condition Assist operations team as necessary About Our Culture Love of Landscaping

Compensation & Schedule Salary:
$22-27/hour
Weekly Hours:
Full-Time, 40 hours a week Part-Time, 8-40 hours a week
Schedule:
Monday to Sunday (Flexible)
Work Location:
Multiple locations (primarily DC). Primary meet up location is located 4 blocks from NoMA metro station
