The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for outdoor work, and a comprehensive understanding of landscape operations. This role involves supervising crew members, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, handling logistics and maintaining an efficient and organized nursery. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew to ensure efficient workflow. Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, irrigation, tree care, and garden upkeep. Experience in procurement and inventory management (sod, mulch, aggregate) Strong logistics and dispatch coordination skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to track and manage materials for deliveries and crews Leadership experience in a similar role Maintain equipment and tools used in landscaping operations to ensure they are in good working condition. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture. Demonstrated experience in installing trees, shrubs, and small plants, as well as managing overall landscape installation projects. Experience managing multiple locations and teams. Proficiency in scheduling software or inventory tracking systems. Hands-on knowledge and expertise in irrigation systems and low-voltage landscape lighting (installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance). Proficiency in operating heavy landscape machinery and equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini-excavators, tractors, augers, trimmers, and blowers). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
